So I made it to Newie, along with a whole bunch of my stuff (it’s frightening how much one person can accumulate). I’ve managed to play a couple of gigs, and have been warmly welcomed by the local musicians (there’s a LOT of talent here!), in between enjoying the beautiful beaches, amazing food, and finding my way around (not my strong point).
Before I left Melbourne, I got together with a bunch of friends at The Thornbury Local for a farewell beverage, and ended up doing an impromptu song or two. Here’s a couple of photos.
